Welcome to the German YMCA in London
The German YMCA in London (Young Men's Christian Association) was founded in 1860. As a Christian Movement, the Association promotes respect and freedom, tolerance and understanding, and welcomes people regardless of their gender, age, religion or ethnic background. In its central location, close to Lancaster Gate on the north side of Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens, the German YMCA offers a variety of cultural and leisure-time activities, advice, support and help for the German-speaking community, their international friends and the local community. We also run an au pair service and a parent-toddler group. Traditionally, the Association offers hospitality for visitors to London. In its own Lancaster Hall Hotel it provides a much-valued service to tourists and business travellers from all over the world. |
Due to the very nature of our Association, much of this website, along with many things we do, will be a mixture of English and German. Bunt gemischt, kann man sagen! |
