Our Hostel
Located right by the Italian fountains in Kensington Gardens we have the perfect budget accommodation to explore the wonderful sights of central London, Notting Hill along with Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park.
The traditional attractions such as Kensington Palace, the Natural History Museum, the Science Museum and the V&A are a leisurely 20 minute walk through the park.
Equally Notting Hill with its eclectic mix of bars, restaurants and the famous Portobello Road market are just a short walk or bus ride away. There is plenty to see on foot or by bike and great transport connections to explore further afield.

Room for Opportunity
As part of the German YMCA's charitable giving, an initiative called 'Room for Opportunity' was launched in 2021 to provide free accommodation to groups visiting London who would otherwise struggle to fund a trip. So far, it has provided free accommodation to schools, the Sea Cadets, the Girl Guides and youth groups from across the UK and Europe.
The aim of this programme is to open these opportunities up to a wider audience in the hope that it might spark new ideas and inspire a passion to discover new skills and friendships. Along with providing accommodation, our friendly team can also assist in pulling together an itinerary and direct you to organisations that give youth discounts to groups.
