Our Playgroup

 

Named after a famous German book character, our Struwwelpeter parent-toddler playgroup meets every Wednesday morning at 10am at the German YMCA on Craven Terrace. Parents and carers get together with their little ones to play, chat and exchange valuable information. This playgroup has been running for nearly 30 years. It started as a German-speaking playgroup but has now become an international playgroup for toddlers and their carers in our community.

There is a softplay area with lots of toys, a ball pit, mini trampoline and indoor see-saw. After playtime and songtime, coffee, tea and biscuits are served. There is a changing area including nappy bags available. The playgroup has step-free access and there is sufficient pushchair parking. Our toys are cleaned and disinfected on a regular basis.

A donation of £2 is encouraged.
